Why HPS?

HPS serves nearly 5,100 students and their families in a small-city setting. We educate and support a richly diverse community of learners. Thanks to partnerships with many local and national organizations and hiring more enrichment teachers, we have increased our weekly enrichment opportunities that engage and inspire our students. The full school day of learning offered by our elementary and middle schools provides expanded opportunities for students to explore their interests in the sciences, the arts, sports, and local and world cultures.
